Sustainability at Marienlyst
At Marienlyst Strandhotel, sustainability isn’t just an obligation—it stems from a desire to make a difference. Through our “BæreLyst” initiative, we’re taking a goal-oriented approach with concrete measures: Green Key certification, LED lighting, a waste management plan, and reducing food waste—see our progress below.
Behind the scenes at the hotel, we’re implementing a wide range of green initiatives—from LED lighting to Nordic Swan-labeled cleaning products, food waste reduction, and the use of local ingredients in the kitchen. We’re proud of our Green Key certification and our partnership with the ESS Group, which benefits both the environment and the guest experience.
