A limited number of seats
We’ve been welcoming guests to the Øresund for over 165 years. Now we’re introducing something we’ve never offered before: a sense of belonging here. As a member, you’re not just visiting. You’re coming home to a place you know. You swipe your own card, grab your robe, and decide for yourself whether to start your day in the sauna, the pool, or the fitness center. The staff knows your name. There’s always an available lounge chair, a spot on the bench in the sauna, and peace and quiet all around you. That’s why we keep the number of members low. You don’t just sign up. You apply for membership, and applications are processed in the order they’re received. Membership begins on January 1, 2027.
A sauna session before the city wakes up.
It’s a little past seven. Steam rises from the water, and Kronborg stands dark against the first light of day. In the beach sauna, water is poured over the stones, and the scent of birch fills the room. The sauna master swings the towel, the heat washes over your shoulders, and for a quarter of an hour, you think of nothing else. Afterward, you run into the sea, or you settle for a cold shower. Then you sit for a moment and look out over the Sound, while your body buzzes with sensation.
Gusen starts every weekday morning. You don't need to make a reservation or plan anything. Just show up.

The fitness center is just a few steps from the pool. Here you’ll find free weights, machines, and cardio equipment, as well as space to stretch afterward—all bathed in light from the water streaming through the windows. There are no classes to attend and no times to book. You work out whenever it fits into your day, at your own pace.
Work out on the machines before work, swim a few laps afterward, and finish up in the sauna. Then you’ll be ready for the day before most people have even had their first cup of coffee. Or come in the evening, when the day has been long and your body needs to be used in a different way.

When can I come?
Every weekday from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. and from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. The sauna session is held every weekday morning. The facility may be closed to members on certain days. These details are listed in the membership terms and conditions.
When does the membership start?
January 1, 2027. You can apply now.
How long is my commitment?
You can choose between 6, 9, or 12 months. After the commitment period, your membership will continue until you cancel it.
What about a towel and slippers?
You'll receive fresh towels and slippers at every visit. The bathrobe is yours, and you can exchange it for a fresh one once a quarter.
Can I bring a friend?
No, membership is personal and cannot be shared.
