FOOTBALL CAMP MARIENLYST
Since 2008, Marienlyst Beach Hotel has created the best setting for professional football clubs and national teams. Today, the national team, among others, use our facilities as training facilities when they are gathered in Denmark.
With a training camp with us, you don't just get a place to stay. You get the perfect environment to prepare your mind, body and body stores before the big game. Denmark's best football pitch is a unique hybrid pitch implemented using the advanced SISGrass system.
A complete 11-man pitch
Denmark's best football pitch is a full 11-a-side pitch and covers an impressive area of 9600 m2. In addition, it contains international goals of 67 x 106m and a full extra goal area of 67 x 25m. There will also always be the goals and training equipment you need available.
Unique hybrid solution
One of the unique features of Denmark's best football pitch is that it is a hybrid solution implemented using the advanced SISGrass system. In addition, it is sand built with a state-of-the-art heating system and has built-in water sprinklers that can be used individually or together. The pitch can therefore be watered before, during and after training - and according to your wishes.
Always prepared
The football pitch will always be prepared before the next training session, and we always make sure the grass is cut in UEFA pattern. In addition, you can always look forward to training with the latest equipment.
THE AREA
The football pitch is located in Elsinore - just a short bike ride from Marienlyst Beach Hotel. We have (electric) bikes available to make it easy for you to get there and back again.
Denmark's best soccer field is located next to the new stadium in Elsinore - just a short bike ride from Marienlyst Beach Hotel.
The entire area is surrounded by fencing so that it can be closed off to the public during training. In addition, the entire football pitch is illuminated by powerful floodlights that spread a clear and bright light over the entire pitch, allowing you to use the pitch for longer periods and during the late hours.
There will also always be staff present during your training sessions and a greenkeeper to make sure the football pitch is always as you want it.
PRE-ACTIVATION EQUIPMENT
Look forward to warming up for your training session or big game with our professional pre-activation equipment put together by the National Team's physical staff.
At Denmark's best football pitch, you can look forward to warming up before your training session or big match with everything from spinning bikes and leg machines to squat racks with 3 Olympic bars and bumper plates.
There will also be kettlebells, Hexagon dumbbells, adjustable benches, GHD, wall balls, squat boards, mobility sticks and back-extension bench available.
All our equipment is professional equipment and is supplied in collaboration with Fitness Engros. The equipment package is put together by the National Team's physical staff.
A football pitch that's always ready for action
When you play on Denmark's best football pitch, you can always look forward to a pitch that is razor sharp. The football pitch has Anders Faber Nielsen, who is Groundsmanager for DBU.
Anders has more than 30 years of experience in grass and hybrid pitches and has been responsible for several football pitches at several Superliga stadiums over the past 17 years. The pitches he has been responsible for have been voted 'Denmark's best football pitch' five times in the last nine years.
Anders has been involved from the groundbreaking of the football pitch and has helped ensure that it meets all standards.
