Marienlyst is certified as a Green Key hotel, which means that the hotel meets strict environmental requirements. This means you can be sure that efforts have been made to protect the environment without compromising your experience and comfort. Marienlyst Strandhotel has been Green Key certified since 2017, which commits us to continuous improvement and measurable environmental management, while the hotel meets mandatory criteria and a number of point criteria. Green Key is an international eco-label for tourism and hospitality, which is a Danish invention found in more than 80 countries. The label means that we meet strict requirements for sustainability, energy and water consumption, waste sorting, and environmentally friendly solutions—without compromising on comfort. Behind the scenes, we are constantly working to become greener and more energy efficient so that you, as a guest, can enjoy your stay with peace of mind.
